This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Perform conflict of interest searches for attorneys and administrative personnel utilizing both internal systems and external research databases.
• Enter, assess, analyze, and manage conflict and new matter data in alignment with firm policies and procedures.
• Review workflow requests to ensure all essential information is included for processing.
• Investigate individual and corporate entities to uncover relationships and potential conflicts.
• Examine conflicts reports for accuracy and completeness, assess potential issues, and resolve conflicts as necessary.
• Elevate unresolved or significant concerns and follow up with attorneys and management.
• Review and process new client and matter intake documentation prior to case initiation.
• Address conflict check inquiries and provide system and status support to firm personnel.
• Collaborate with team members and adhere to deadlines for prompt request processing.
• Participate in periodic after-hours/weekend on-call shifts as directed by the General Counsel's Office.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of three years of conflicts experience in the legal field is preferred.
• A J.D. is advantageous.
• Prior experience with Aderant and/or Intapp is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of legal conflicts and associated ethical regulations.
• Good judgment and discretion when managing confidential information.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent organizational abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to organize and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Effectiveness in performing with moderate supervision and within established time constraints and ongoing deadlines.
• Willingness to seek guidance while taking responsibility for and resolving issues.
• Dedication to skill advancement and continuous improvement of work quality.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and professionally with attorneys, staff, and colleagues at all levels.
• Proven customer service orientation and professionalism in a legal or professional services setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Strong computer, research, and proofreading abilities.
