Computer Support Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer service for support inquiries

• Assist in testing applications

• Review and revise both technical and customer-facing documentation

• Engage in project ceremonies

• Aid in the development, implementation, and integration of AI solutions

• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members

• Apply foundational knowledge of computer systems, applications, and interfaces

• Collect data and formulate straightforward solutions

• Create basic benchmarking metrics to evaluate the performance of systems, applications, or databases

• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in data collection, specification development, documentation, and record maintenance

• Operate under direct supervision to support team objectives

• Execute additional tasks as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

• Some college education

• Some relevant experience

• Further education may compensate for the required experience

• Additional relevant experience may replace the required education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, in accordance with the JHU equivalency formula

• Proficient in Microsoft applications

• Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C#

• Experience with generative AI solutions like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot
