Computer Science Patent Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage with inventors and prepare patent applications for submission to the USPTO.

• Prosecute patent applications before the USPTO, including conducting interviews with Examiners.

• Collaborate effectively with clients and fellow BoMc attorneys to develop and enhance claim strategies.

• Proactively oversee a docket of cases for clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

• Draft opinions on noninfringement and invalidity.

• Conduct thorough due diligence investigations.

• Perform freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses under the guidance of partners.

• Manage post-grant proceedings before the USPTO, including Inter Partes Reviews.

• A minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience, particularly in computer science.

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or substantial experience in the computer science field.

• A positive outlook towards client service.

• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and professional service skills, both written and verbal.

• Capability to multi-task, handle numerous priorities, and work effectively within a team.

• A self-motivated individual committed to success and personal professional development.

• A willingness to be involved in all facets of a dynamic law firm team.

• Submission of a resume and cover letter is required.

• Submission of law school and undergraduate transcripts either with the application or upon request from the firm.
