Computer Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage complex computer networks and applications

• Operate distributed systems within a multi-vendor setting

• Execute batch operations in accordance with service agreements

• Analyze initial-level issues across various systems

• Resolve or escalate issues as necessary

• Create support system management processes tailored to customer needs

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and technical experts

• Provide support for intricate processes, critical systems, and customer delivery

• Ensure 24x7 support through flexible work schedules

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Operations environment

• At least 2 years of practical experience with Windows and Office products, including Word, Excel, and Teams

• Exceptional customer relations and communication skills

• Capability to identify and troubleshoot issues independently

• Willingness to work an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) to provide 24x7 support, including shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Must pass rigorous background checks

• Fundamental understanding of network concepts such as routers, switches, and circuits

• High school diploma required

• College degree preferred

• Familiarity with the Major Incident process is preferred

• Familiarity with Problem and Change processes is preferred

• Experience with specific systems and tools, including ACES, Ansible Controller, BMC TrueSight, Confluence, Control-M, DLP, Dynatrace, FedIdentity, GitLab/GitHub, Grafana, Infoblox IPAM, Jenkins, Jira/Rally, Okta, Netcool, PSM, PuTTY/Secure CRT, ServiceNow/CMDB, Splunk Enterprise, VMware vSphere, VMware Workspace ONE, and WebSphere Admin Console
