Computer Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales teams in the Western region, encompassing Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, and Southern California.

• Assist in developing advanced interfaces for robotic applications centered on machinery.

• Engage in proof-of-concept projects, evaluate cycle times, conduct reach studies, and configure robotic solutions for applications focused on personal computing.

• Work alongside sales to assess customer needs and propose as well as design robotic solutions.

• Present proof of concept demonstrations and presentations to clients.

• Ensure that solutions meet customer specifications and adhere to coding standards.

• Work collaboratively with customers, internal teams, and possibly third parties to resolve issues.

• Manage modifications in proposals or documentation and ensure alignment of requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing client/server applications.

• Proficient in Linux, Python, JavaScript, and REST.

• Knowledgeable in AI modeling, including dataset management, labeling, and training.

• Comfortable presenting to and engaging with customers and peer teams at all levels.

• Background in mechatronic engineering is preferred.

• Knowledge of automation engineering is advantageous.
