Composting & Organics Feasibility Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze organic waste streams and explore collection methods.

• Assess technologies for composting and anaerobic digestion, along with facility capacity.

• Develop analyses related to costs, revenues, and market conditions.

• Review permitting processes and provide recommendations for implementation.

• Contribute to AlphaGov proposals by supplying qualifications and narratives of past performance when authorized.

• Collaborate on projects related to studying source-separated organics for a composting facility as part of current county work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in solid waste or organics management planning.

• Experience in feasibility studies for composting or organics facilities.

• Must be comfortable working as a 1099 project-based consultant.

• NYSDEC Part 360/361 experience is a plus.

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.

• Certification from the US Composting Council is a plus.
