Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate potential new vendors as needs arise.

• Oversee the onboarding, offboarding, and contract renewals of all vendors.

• Perform due diligence assessments when onboarding critical vendors and conduct annual reviews thereafter.

• Manage and evaluate the performance of operational vendors.

• Address and escalate vendor-related issues and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.

• Audit and supervise operational vendor usage to ensure adherence to client and Firm standards and requirements.

• Control employee access to vendor systems.

• Assign or deliver training related to vendor system utilization.

• Maintain and refresh internal SharePoint sites and lists.

• Assist with various other tasks as assigned.

• Serve as a liaison between the Firm’s operational departments and its vendors.

• Execute tasks for the Compliance Department as directed by the Compliance Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma required.

• Additional education is recommended.

• Experience in the mortgage default industry is preferred.

• Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a friendly and team-oriented environment.

• Outstanding organizational abilities.

• Capacity to multitask and adapt to ongoing changes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while typing, using, and looking at a computer.
