Compensation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the upkeep of salary ranges, job evaluation information, and documentation related to incentive plans.

• Aid in the collection and organization of data for market pricing studies and compensation surveys.

• Support survey submissions and perform basic benchmarking tasks.

• Contribute to job description reviews and maintain records associated with job leveling and classifications.

• Help with administrative duties during annual merit and bonus cycles, which includes data entry, quality checks, and report preparation.

• Address routine compensation inquiries from HR and business partners, escalating complex matters to senior team members.

• Prepare basic reports and summaries for review.

• Assist in ensuring that compensation data and processes are in accordance with company policies.

• Identify potential compliance issues and bring them to the attention of senior staff.

• Maintain accurate and dependable compensation data while supporting daily compensation activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience.

• 0–2 years of experience in compensation, HR, or related analytical work; internship experience is also considered.

• Basic knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, and job evaluation processes.

• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion when handling confidential employee and company information.

• Proficient in Excel and open to learning compensation systems and reporting tools.

• Effective communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to learn and develop within the compensation function.

• Familiarity with market pricing tools (e.g., PayFactors, WTW, Mercer) is advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Openness to learning in a dynamic or expanding organization.
