Community Solar Operations Intern – Summer 2027

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Review and rectify customer enrollment details.

• Process enrollments via utility, developer partner, and program administrator platforms.

• Monitor project fill rates and identify any discrepancies.

• Relay issues to the Operations team.

• Document current workflows and contribute ideas for process enhancements.

• Ensure subscribers are billed accurately and punctually.

• Assist in resolving billing issues and collecting subscription fees.

• Help manage automated billing processes.

• Prepare subscriber statements as required.

• Aid in ensuring billing accuracy and completion reporting.

• Support developer partner reporting and track essential metrics.

• Offer valuable insights to the business.

• Assist in initiatives to enhance and automate reporting processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

• A strong interest in renewable energy and community solar is advantageous.

• Basic technical skills and a willingness to learn new software and tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Good project management and time management capabilities.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to precision.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening and the ability to ask clarifying questions.

• Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.
