Community Relations – Outreach Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the planning, execution, and assessment of comprehensive statewide marketing and communication initiatives.

• Facilitate member outreach and educational programs, which includes the coordination and creation of materials for members.

• Aid in the design, review, and modification of health-related resources distributed to members.

• Engage in community events and manage booth arrangements at sponsored occasions.

• Assist in delivering presentations to community members regarding benefits, services available, and health-related topics.

• Ensure that regional outreach personnel complete monthly outreach schedules for all service areas.

• Act as a liaison for community organizations, businesses, fundraisers, and community events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within 45 minutes of Indianapolis, IN.

• High school diploma or equivalent necessary.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, marketing, or customer service.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel 75%, including evenings and weekends.

• Possession of a valid driver's license required.

• Preferred background in health care.

• Strong track record in community engagement, relationship building with partners, event planning, punctuality, and project completion in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

• Comfortable presenting to members, addressing feedback or concerns, seeking solutions, and collaborating with various departments is preferred.

• Familiarity with Medicaid products is preferred.

• Experience in managing sponsorships is highly desirable.
