Community Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Establish OpenArt's presence on Reddit from the ground up.

• Develop the subreddit into a vibrant community of AI creators.

• Set weekly and monthly objectives for growth.

• Conduct experiments across content, distribution, community initiatives, and user acquisition.

• Transform Reddit discussions into subreddit members, OpenArt users, and advocates.

• Monitor reach, engagement, community expansion, traffic, and signups.

• Create recurring formats, challenges, showcases, discussions, AMAs, competitions, and community initiatives.

• Motivate users to share their work and workflows in an organic manner.

• Support active members who can evolve into community advocates.

• Moderate the community while maintaining an authentic tone.

• Engage in relevant AI, video, filmmaking, design, advertising, and creator communities.

• Foster relationships with moderators, creators, power users, and relevant communities.

• Identify organic opportunities to introduce OpenArt.

• Generate, launch, and assess experiments, converting successful strategies into repeatable systems.

• Monitor sentiment, complaints, feature requests, competitor discussions, and emerging AI tools and workflows.

• Provide insights to product, growth, and marketing teams.

• Profound understanding of Reddit culture, humor, communities, unwritten rules, and marketing practices.

• Proven experience in growing communities, audiences, social accounts, or organic acquisition channels.

• A growth-oriented mindset.

• Highly experimental and comfortable with the concept of failure.

• Exceptional, natural English writing skills.

• Knowledge of generative AI and active awareness of the domain.

• Ability to act swiftly without constant direction.

• Strong sense of ownership and self-directed execution.

• Capability to transform ideas from concept to execution rapidly.

• Experience in personally growing a subreddit or Reddit account (even more advantageous).

• Experience in building an online community from scratch (even more advantageous).

• Proven track record of growing an organic channel with measurable traffic or user acquisition (even more advantageous).

• Familiarity with AI image or video creation tools (even more advantageous).

• Understanding of Reddit search, Google search visibility, and external discovery of Reddit content (even more advantageous).

• Experience with creators, ambassadors, affiliates, or user-generated content programs (even more advantageous).

• Ability to analyze community and content performance (even more advantageous).

• Skills to create simple memes, graphics, GIFs, or videos (even more advantageous).

• Ability to leverage AI for increased efficiency (even more advantageous).
