This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Compose and refine internal communications, intranet articles, newsletters, media pitches, press releases, website content, and social media posts.

• Assist with online events and town halls, including technical setup and coordination.

• Facilitate media relations by distributing press releases, maintaining media lists, and tracking inquiries.

• Update and manage the corporate website and intranet utilizing WordPress and SharePoint.

• Oversee timelines, deliverables, and approvals for communications projects.

• Maintain content calendars, project trackers, and team processes.

• Distribute and publish internal and external communications, including coordinating French-language interpretation when necessary.

• Schedule and release social media content across corporate channels.

• Monitor traditional and social media for issues, trends, and opportunities, and share insights with the team.

• Manage analytics reporting from web, social, and intranet platforms to support ongoing improvement.

• Lead the coordination of communications regarding quarterly financial results with Finance and Legal teams.

• Manage shared inboxes and respond to or triage inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Support daily team operations, including maintaining lists, logs, filing, and workflow coordination.

• Provide hands-on assistance during peak periods or urgent response situations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proven relevant communications experience within a corporate or agency setting.

• Exceptional writing and editing capabilities.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to develop a compelling media pitch.

• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.

• Proficiency in creating engaging content across internal, digital, social, and media formats and channels.

• Confidence in managing and executing online events via Microsoft Teams.

• Advanced skills in WordPress, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated experience with design and video editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Premiere Pro.

• Professional, collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality when required.

• Willingness to assist wherever necessary.
