Communications Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation, editing, and proofreading of internal announcements, press releases, website content, social media posts, presentations, and other communication materials.

• Aid in the planning and execution of both internal and external communication campaigns and events.

• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and media coverage to shape communication strategies.

• Oversee and update content on internal communication platforms and external digital channels.

• Work collaboratively with various departments to gather information and maintain consistent messaging.

• Assist with media monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of communications.

• Provide general administrative support to the Communications team as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field.

• Anticipated graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong grasp of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems is preferred.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Previous internship experience in communications or a related field is advantageous.
