Associate Communications Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide daily assistance to Communications Consultants for designated client accounts.

• Create, revise, and proofread participant-facing materials utilizing standardized templates and content approved for compliance.

• Update communication templates with information specific to plans, including emails, flyers, enrollment reminders, and other communications for participants.

• Manage compliance submissions and ensure accurate control of document versions.

• Aid in the establishment and upkeep of participant microsites and special election webpages.

• Post updates and dispatch reminders to participants.

• Gather engagement metrics and report on the outcomes.

• Assist with regular and ad hoc email distributions to participants.

• Support the preparation, formatting, and quality assurance of quarterly reporting presentations and associated materials.

• Monitor deliverables, deadlines, and project milestones using project management tools such as Workfront.

• Collaborate with Communications Consultants and leadership on special projects, process enhancements, and team initiatives.

• Cultivate the knowledge, skills, and readiness necessary to take on responsibility for a designated book of business as business needs and demonstrated capabilities permit.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in communications, marketing, project coordination, client support, or a related area.

• Strong skills in writing, editing, proofreading, and quality review.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• A degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a similar field is preferred.

• Familiarity with financial services, retirement plans, or participant communications is preferred.

• Experience in supporting remote teams and coordinating activities among various stakeholders is preferred.

• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and adjust to evolving business needs is preferred.
