This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +4 more states.
β’ Oversee a diverse array of projects that vary in complexity from single-property to multi-property commercial transactions, where every detail is crucial.
β’ Research, review, and link data across various counties and jurisdictions.
β’ Confirm legal property descriptions by reading, interpreting, and plotting accurately.
β’ Examine and assess public records, including leases, subleases, deeds, liens, and easements, to ascertain ownership and any title-related limitations.
β’ Compile findings and create title commitments and reports with accuracy and clarity.
β’ Detect and rectify discrepancies or absent information through diligent research and documentation.
β’ Work in collaboration with underwriters and internal teams to guarantee precision and efficiency throughout the title process.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of relevant commercial title insurance experience in title searching, examining, and drafting commitments.
β’ Familiarity with pertinent legal and real estate terminology.
β’ Competency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, internet usage, property data platforms, and a willingness to learn company-specific systems.
β’ Exceptional ability to analyze complex information and independently resolve problems.
β’ Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and paperless environment.
β’ Clear and professional communication skills with a focus on customer service.
β’ A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
