Commercial Title Examiner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects that range from single-property to multi-property commercial transactions.

• Conduct searches, analyze, and integrate data across various counties and jurisdictions.

• Confirm legal property descriptions, which includes reading, interpreting, and mapping them.

• Evaluate and assess leases, subleases, deeds, liens, easements, and other public records.

• Ascertain ownership and identify title-related restrictions.

• Compile findings and create title commitments and reports.

• Detect and address discrepancies or absent information through thorough research and documentation.

• Work collaboratively with underwriters and internal teams to guarantee accuracy and efficiency in the title process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in commercial title insurance, focusing on title searching, examining, and writing commitments.

• Familiarity with pertinent legal and real estate terminology.

• Competence in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, internet navigation, and property data platforms.

• Capability to learn the company’s systems effectively.

• Proficient in analyzing complex information and resolving problems autonomously.

• Highly organized, thriving in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and paperless environment.

• Excellent and professional communication skills with a customer service orientation.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
