This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.
β’ Oversee projects that range from single-property to multi-property commercial transactions.
β’ Research, analyze, and connect data across various counties and jurisdictions.
β’ Validate legal property descriptions by reading, interpreting, and plotting relevant information.
β’ Review and assess leases, subleases, deeds, liens, easements, and other public records.
β’ Identify ownership and any title-related restrictions.
β’ Summarize findings and create title commitments and reports.
β’ Detect and resolve discrepancies or missing information through thorough research and documentation.
β’ Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the title process.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in title searching, examining, and writing commitments within the state of Maryland.
β’ Familiarity with pertinent legal and real estate terminology.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, internet applications, and property data platforms.
β’ Capability to learn company systems effectively.
β’ Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex information and resolve problems independently.
β’ Highly organized and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, paperless environment.
β’ Excellent and professional communication skills with a customer service orientation.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent required.
