Commercial Service Desk Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming calls from business clients regarding billing inquiries, technical concerns, and general questions.

• Provide assistance to customers with inquiries and issues related to Metronet products and services.

• Investigate and resolve customer problems utilizing various tools and systems.

• Process credit applications and initiate service activation.

• Keep accurate records as needed.

• Generate required reports.

• Update customer accounts as necessary.

• Address customer requests and inquiries related to services and products.

• Identify and report areas of concern.

• Maintain current knowledge of the company's products, services, and promotional offerings.

• Make recommendations for systems based on customer equipment specifications and requirements.

• Identify billing issues for customers and provide appropriate solutions.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 1+ year of relevant experience or experience in a high-volume call center setting.

• Detail-oriented with a strong capability to adhere to established procedures.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to deescalate situations or persuade customers effectively.

• Competence in customer service, initiative, and problem-solving.

• Availability to work after 5 p.m. and on weekends (8–12 p.m. CST) as necessary on a rotating shift basis.
