Commercial Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales teams to grasp customer needs and develop customized solutions

• Utilize MEDDPICC and Command of the Message sales methodologies

• Offer technical support regarding Kubernetes, serverless frameworks, Docker, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud

• Promote best practices in cloud security and application security

• Interact with technical decision-makers and security teams to deploy security solutions

• Keep abreast of competitive dynamics and industry trends

• Engage with prospects and foster enduring trusted-advisor relationships

• Assist in sales efforts targeting startups and midmarket clients

• Tackle intricate technical challenges and enhance customer success

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, or comparable technical sales position

• Preferably experience concentrated on startup and midmarket clients

• Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDPICC

• Technical proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless technologies

• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms

• Understanding of cloud and container security principles

• Prior experience in a startup setting

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication capabilities

• Proven ability to negotiate and establish rapport with clients

• Dedication to continuous learning

• Must be based in the New York metro area
