This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver expert assistance for both warranty and non-warranty technical inquiries related to all AHT product lines, products, and services.
• Address technical product challenges and serve as a liaison with Product Management regarding design and application.
• Maintain a high level of expertise in the company's products and services, encompassing installation, programming, and equipment protocols.
• Sustain advanced knowledge of specific third-party products and services.
• Diagnose and resolve Heat Pump issues while ensuring minimal downtime.
• Create work instructions and technical documentation for AHT and third-party products and services.
• Contribute materials to the knowledge base for reference purposes.
• Analyze Customer Service project scopes, store prints, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accountability and advanced equipment application.
• Assess and recommend alternative components.
• Collaborate with contractors to verify that stores comply with operational standards.
• Design and implement technical training modules for both internal and external audiences, including progress metrics, participation tracking, pass/fail analysis, and certification protocols.
• Adjust System CX and propose software and parameter modifications for the efficient functioning of assigned products.
• Conduct or oversee system energy analysis for optimal performance.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• An Associate’s (AA) degree or a similar qualification from a two-year college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant HVAC/R experience and/or training in HFC & CO2.
• Experience with R290 is advantageous.
• Certification in the use and handling of refrigerants is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and utilize assembly drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electromechanical components.
• Knowledge of necessary ESD precautions for sensitive electronic hardware.
• Familiarity with various hand tools and refrigeration tools, including pumps for evacuation and glycol.
• Competence in using computer and software tools to adjust parameters and perform diagnostics.
• Required familiarity with MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and IBM Notes email.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Must be flexible with work schedules on a daily basis based on client availability demands.
• Up to 90% overnight travel is necessary.
• A valid Driver’s license in the state of residency is mandatory.
• A valid Passport or the ability to obtain one immediately is required.
• Must fulfill the specified physical requirements, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, computer operation, and exposure to worksite conditions.
