Commercial Property Insurance Product Lead II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Conceptually and technically innovate and enhance insurance programs.

• Provide strategic leadership for Commercial Property, Inland Marine, and Output Policy lines.

• Evaluate the effects of coverages, markets, industries, legal and regulatory trends, customers, and competitors on insurance offerings.

• Offer practical insights and develop new products as well as product improvements.

• Collaborate with product strategy leaders and compliance experts on emerging trends and new insurance offerings.

• Engage with customers and incorporate their feedback into product development.

• Participate in panels and customer forums while representing products to clients.

• Meet with customers individually and act as a key resource for them.

• Represent Verisk at industry conferences and professional organizations.

• Prepare and deliver presentations, as well as author or co-author white papers or articles.

• Organize and develop multi-state filings for property insurance.

• Arrange commercial property panel meetings, including setting agendas and taking minutes.

• Facilitate the legal review process for product changes and enhancements.

• Collaborate with the actuarial department as needed.

• Work closely with Actuarial, Compliance, Government Relations, Operational Support, and Publication Support teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in P&C insurance with comprehensive knowledge of coverages in Commercial Property, Inland Marine, and/or Output Policy lines, along with strong awareness of market, industry, and competitor trends.

• Strong ability to develop and analyze policy forms is required.

• Demonstrated research and analytical capabilities.

• Proactive problem solver.

• Detail-oriented.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Comfortable delivering presentations at industry events.

• Experience in building internal or external customer relationships aimed at actionable insights and collaborative partnerships for innovation, product enhancement, or improved usability.

• CPCU, other industry certifications, or a law degree is a plus.

• Some travel may be necessary.
