This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform extensive market intelligence activities, encompassing competitor pricing analysis, market trends, and customer behavior insights.

• Observe cost drivers and industry developments to improve competitive positioning.

• Create and sustain detailed financial models to evaluate product performance, forecast expenses, project profitability, and assess pricing scenarios.

• Generate pricing summaries and profitability analyses to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Act as a vital member of proposal teams by formulating cost estimates and competitive pricing strategies for large-scale bids and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

• Align pricing assumptions with business case development, budget forecasts, and cost recovery objectives.

• Ensure adherence to government contracting regulations, including FAR and DoD pricing guidelines.

• Maintain precise and audit-ready documentation.

• Collaborate with product management, finance, engineering, operations, and sales teams to synchronize pricing strategies with business goals and go-to-market plans.

• Present pricing strategies, risk assessments, and justifications to senior leadership and government representatives during reviews and negotiations.

• Assist in the creation of business cases and commercial-to-government price justifications for new products and services.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as finance, economics, business, or accounting is generally required.

• A minimum of 8 to 10+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or cost estimating, with a substantial portion in a government or defense contracting setting.

• A thorough understanding of the defense industry, government procurement processes, and relevant regulations (e.g., FAR and DFARS) is essential.

• Capability to interpret intricate data, perform financial modeling, and employ statistical tools.

• Ability to devise solutions to complex issues that meet the needs of multiple stakeholders while navigating federal contracting intricacies.

• Proficiency in effectively negotiating contract proposals.

• Strong communication skills to clearly convey complex pricing strategies and data-driven insights to internal teams and government clients.

• Expertise in pricing software and analytical tools, including advanced Excel proficiency.

• Candidates must meet eligibility criteria for a U.S. Government security clearance.

• Only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
