This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.
• Oversee the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of designated projects.
• Ensure that projects align with the company's strategy, commitments, and objectives.
• Plan and assess project activities while implementing Agile methodologies.
• Manage tier 3 projects in the capacity of Project Manager I.
• Act as a liaison for project stakeholders.
• Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Guide projects from initiation through to closure.
• Identify resource requirements and create project plans.
• Monitor project deliverables and milestones using suitable tools.
• Track and report project progress to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and training as a Project Manager II.
• Facilitate iterative planning, ongoing improvement, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Support Agile methodologies using Scrum or Kanban and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.
• Provide direction and support to project teams.
• Present updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Assemble and coordinate project personnel.
• Monitor and manage resource allocation.
• Work alongside project managers and resource managers to address project portfolio needs.
• Oversee project portfolio content and ensure adherence to standards.
• Project Manager I: High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience; or Associate’s Degree or equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Project Manager II: High School Diploma or equivalent with 7 years of relevant experience; or Associate’s Degree or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s Degree.
• Understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
• Ability to obtain and handle sensitive information with discretion and objectivity.
• Proficient use of English, including spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and punctuation.
• Competence in reading, interpreting, and accurately inputting data.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Capability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Skill in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Capacity to meet strict deadlines and handle pressure situations.
• Proficient use of computers and relevant software applications.
• Ability to identify when to escalate issues to the appropriate management level.
• Flexibility and willingness to work longer hours during peak workload periods.
• Preferred: Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
• For Project Manager II: Successful completion of Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is preferred.
