Commercial Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Accounting, by providing financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven insights.

• Prepare month-end reporting packages, encompassing P&L reviews, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial reporting.

• Maintain and enhance data sources, reporting tools, and dashboards to elevate Commercial Finance reporting and decision-making support.

• Assist in product launches, promotional planning, forecasting, and evaluations of financial performance.

• Guarantee the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data through reconciliations, validation processes, and ongoing improvements.

• Plan and report on annual revenue targets and objectives.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

• Report directly to the Sr. Manager, Commercial Finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, reporting, or similar finance roles.

• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Familiarity with visualization software (e.g., Tableau) is advantageous.

• Understanding of trade investment, promotional landscape, and promotional optimization techniques is beneficial.

• CPA, CFA, or MBA achieved or in progress is a plus.

• Successful completion of background and reference checks.
