This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.
• Provide analytical and loan decision support to the Credit Administration team and Relationship Managers.
• Create financial statement spreads for commercial loan clients, guarantors, and associated entities.
• Conduct spreads of financial statements and tax returns for commercial clients.
• Analyze personal cash flow using individual tax returns and personal financial documents.
• Utilize credit-reporting services to generate current and prospective customer credit history reports.
• Ensure that all tasks are performed promptly, accurately, and in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Research and evaluate financial data, interpret results, prepare financial position reports, and identify further information necessary for borrower assessment.
• Monitor the financial status of established accounts and report any irregularities to loan officers.
• Collaborate with team members in the Commercial Credit Analyst group to achieve team goals and objectives.
• Take on special projects as assigned by Credit Analyst leadership.
• Engage in community activities.

• Participate in professional training and development, as well as pursue cross-training opportunities.
• Be available for regular before/after-hours work or out-of-town travel as needed.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership in the Commercial Credit Analyst team.
• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting is preferred.
• A minimum of five years of finance or accounting-related experience may substitute for a college degree in business, finance, or accounting.
• Proficiency in personal computers, Windows, and Microsoft software applications is required.
• Ability to remain seated or stand in a confined space while working on a computer for at least four hours each workday.
• Must consistently use hands and fingers to input data on a computer or answer phone calls throughout most of an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to hear and communicate effectively with coworkers and customers throughout the day.
• Capability to lift up to 25 pounds one to two times daily.
• Must operate in a professional office environment and adhere to grooming and dress standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team is necessary.
