Commercial Contracts Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct reviews and negotiations of commercial contracts, which include vendor agreements, data processing addenda, confidentiality agreements, and engagement letters.

• Utilize client-specific playbooks and structured frameworks to ensure alignment with established client positions.

• Detect deviations from playbook positions and apply suitable fallback language.

• Oversee the work of junior team members, aiding in their professional growth and ongoing training.

• Manage workflow and document queues while adhering to defined turnaround times and service levels.

• Collaborate with colleagues across the global legal team to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.

• Engage directly with internal stakeholders to promote operational efficiency and service excellence.

• Participate in broader business initiatives, including enhancements to the legal team’s operating model.

• Leverage proprietary AI tools to expedite document reviews and improve accuracy and consistency.

• Maintain oversight of legal outputs to ensure that deliverables meet both client and internal quality standards.

• Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams to enhance the AI platform.

• Operate within an AI-driven legal delivery model that integrates legal expertise with technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed attorney in the US.

• A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating core commercial documents.

• Strong desire to develop client management skills quickly, with the aim of eventually taking ownership of client relationships.

• Exceptional written and spoken English proficiency.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to consistently delivering high-quality work.

• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a global/remote team.
