Commercial Content Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Create and refine commercial content including branded articles, product and project evaluations, sponsored guides, written interviews, social media content, newsletter sponsorships, and display/banner ad designs.

• Ensure adherence to commercial content guidelines through regular audits and spot checks.

• Assign specialized content to writers with the appropriate subject-matter expertise.

• Suggest updates to guidelines to Marketing and Legal leadership.

• Assess Sales/BD requests for exceptions to guidelines and escalate justified cases to the Head of BD.

• Oversee and prioritize commercial content requests while collaborating with editorial, design, and Sales/BD teams.

• Develop and expand the commercial content function as the sponsor and partner product suite evolves.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in content, editorial, or media roles.

• Significant experience in people and process leadership.

• Proven track record of managing editorial or compliance standards across a team or content pipeline.

• Experience collaborating directly with Sales/BD or sponsorship teams.

• Strong judgment in balancing business and sponsor requirements with brand and compliance risks.

• Excellent writing and editing skills in commercial/sponsored formats.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Familiarity with WordPress, Google Docs, and AI-assisted writing/research tools.

• Senior-level experience in dynamic media, publishing, or content operations.

• Comfortable acting as the liaison between Sales/BD, Marketing, News, and Legal/Compliance.

• Experience in crypto, fintech, or related industries is a plus.

• Background in branded content, native advertising, or large-scale sponsored editorial is advantageous.

• Experience in establishing or scaling a commercial content function is a bonus.
