Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster – PD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into Commercial Property Damage claims, assessing liability, coverage, and damages.

• Analyze policies, endorsements, and combined single limit exposures.

• Gather statements, police reports, medical records, and repair documentation.

• Assess injury severity, vehicle damages, and total loss situations.

• Set up and maintain appropriate reserves.

• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.

• Interact with insured parties, claimants, attorneys, and vendors.

• Ensure quality documentation and adherence to compliance standards.

• Manage coverage for commercial vehicles weighing up to 25,000 lbs. and fleets of 1–10 vehicles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred or equivalent relevant experience.

• An active Florida Adjuster License is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience handling Commercial Auto Property Damage claims is necessary.

• Experience with coverage for commercial vehicles up to 25,000 lbs. and fleets of 1–10 vehicles is essential.

• Strong knowledge of reserving practices is required.

• Experience with Florida claims is preferred.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills are necessary.

• Familiarity with Guidewire is preferred.

• Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Illinois, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, Tennessee, Indiana, or Virginia.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must satisfy employment eligibility requirements; UAIC is a participant in E-Verify.
