Commercial Appraiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct valuation assignments in a professional manner

• Define the scope of work and select suitable valuation approaches and methodologies

• Execute assignments for commercial real estate valuation and consulting projects

• Gather data and perform market research

• Evaluate complex highest and best use scenarios

• Assess revenue and expense performance

• Create cash flow projections using discounted cash flow models

• Examine comparable sales

• Conduct detailed cost analyses

• Compare markets to formulate opinions of value

• Mentor less experienced professionals

• Generate new business opportunities and maintain client relationships

• Deliver commercial real estate valuation services, market studies, feasibility analyses, and strategic consulting

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory

• Certified General Appraiser license required

• 2-5 years of experience in appraising commercial real estate

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook/Teams, PowerPoint)

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Capability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents

• Proven ability to tackle advanced and multifaceted problems

• Experience with Argus Enterprise or Rockport VAL is advantageous

• Candidate for MAI designation is a plus
