This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main point of contact and dedicated, embedded Business Intelligence support for the designated division.
• Maintain regular communication and collaborate closely with DVPs, Regional Managers, District Managers, and Strategic Account Leads regarding sales, performance relative to plan, and outcomes.
• Provide execution-focused insights and thought leadership to facilitate performance-to-plan discussions and guide actions.
• Lead opportunity analysis, which includes identifying targeted accounts and subsets, analyzing distribution gaps, and assessing display execution and effectiveness, as well as key/BTG account opportunities.
• Identify and convey market-level implications of Strategic Account programming, distribution successes, and setbacks.
• Create market-specific tools and offer real-time support and training for field teams utilizing data in sales situations.
• Provide responsive ad-hoc analytics support, including in-depth division-level analyses for distributor GSMs, meetings, and retail sales calls.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Analytics Analyst and the broader BI team on Power BI reporting, tool development, and solution-oriented strategies.
• Assist in planning, program tracking, ROI assessments, launch/reset execution, and distributor and retail Top-to-Top meetings.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance analytics processes or tools in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Brand Excellence.
• Aid in distributor transitions and ERP system modifications while ensuring continuity in reporting.
• Translate large, complex data sets into succinct executive-level presentations and insight decks.
• Promote a data-driven culture within the division.
• Attend key distributor meetings with division sales leaders to understand and help resolve business challenges.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, sales analytics, and/or category insights is necessary.
• Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry is mandatory.
• Proficient knowledge of Power BI and data modeling concepts is essential.
• Ability to guide report development and interpret DAX-based analyses is required.
• Experience in reading, interpreting, and deriving insights from Circana/Nielsen and distributor syndicated data is needed.
• Commercial experience collaborating with various sales levels, from executive to field, to extract insights for the intended audience is important.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Experience in presenting to senior leadership is a must.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines are required.
