This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Master SHI’s value proposition to surpass revenue and profit objectives.
• Develop impactful sales strategies and pricing proposals.
• Foster relationships with current clients and establish new connections through cold calling, meetings, and networking.
• Identify and create opportunities within the sales pipeline to achieve targets.
• Collaborate with sales management to oversee opportunities and accomplish quarterly and annual goals.
• Build partnerships with both internal SHI support teams and external industry partners.
• Understand customer business goals, IT priorities, and initiatives to deliver customized solutions.
• Communicate SHI’s products, solutions, services, and capabilities to customers and partners effectively.
• Monitor industry competitors and strategically position SHI’s offerings.
• Engage with cross-departmental and extended support teams to uncover business opportunities.
• Enhance market awareness through participation in local and regional industry events, organizations, and affiliations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, products, and market conditions.
• Candidates must reside in the San Francisco, CA, or San Jose, CA area.
• Willingness to travel within the designated territory for customer and partner interactions.
• Ability to thrive in a team selling environment.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Expertise in building client relationships and driving new business development.
• Proficient in account management.
• Skilled in project management.
• Understanding of business operations and strategic planning.
• Bachelor’s Degree completed.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience.
• At least 50% of the time spent outside an office setting meeting existing and prospective customers.
• Ability to travel to customer sites within the designated territory.
• Availability to attend SHI, partner, and customer events.
• Currently hold or have the capacity to obtain necessary sales and/or technical certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
• Ability to assess market trends and the competitive landscape.
• Advanced negotiation and prospecting abilities.
• Strong presentation, listening, organization, and time-management skills.
