This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Oversee and manage performance across various collision repair facilities within the Grand Rapids area.
• Ensure the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is consistently implemented at all locations.
• Coordinate activities among General Managers at each location.
• Track capture rates and evaluate shop performance.
• Hold team members accountable to company standards, mission, SOPs, and performance expectations.
• Conduct daily load-leveling calls for the market.
• Recruit, interview, and train new employees.
• Mentor staff and address customer issues to guarantee satisfaction.
• Facilitate ongoing employee education and development.
• Engage in external marketing and team-building initiatives.
• Advocate for safe and clean working conditions, reviewing audits and safety records.
• Ensure the correct usage of personal protective equipment and document any safety policy violations.
• Collaborate with corporate staff to promote external growth in the assigned market.
• Maintain internal reporting and communication to achieve area business-plan objectives.
• Assess location performance against targets and provide coaching to managers.
• Reach out to claims managers and dealer accounts at least once a month.
• Conduct monthly operations reviews and in-person audits with location managers.
• Build relationships with local insurance contacts and other referral sources.
• Ensure timely responses from stores to client inquiries.
• At least five years of experience in the collision repair industry.
• A minimum of three years of management experience.
• I-CAR Platinum certification is preferred.
• Estimating license required if applicable in the state.
• Ability to read and comprehend financial statements.
• Extensive experience in estimating.
• Capability to meet the physical demands of the job, with reasonable accommodations available.
