This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Manage and release various check runs

• Conduct root cause analysis for any delays or issues

• Assist in the special check run process within Workday

• Oversee lockbox payments from start to finish

• Enter, investigate, apply, and/or return provider refunds

• Analyze daily cash forecasts

• Address customer complaints through research

• Collaborate with a mentor and support essential strategic projects

• Complete tasks based on business needs, departmental priorities, and qualifications

• Execute both technical and non-technical business-related projects

• Prepare and deliver a presentation upon completing the internship

• Uphold the mission, values, Corporate Code of Conduct, and Lifetime Way values of Lifetime Healthcare Companies

• Ensure confidentiality and safeguard member privacy

• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance

• Perform additional functions as assigned by management


⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• High School diploma and proof of ongoing enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program

• Must maintain good academic standing

• Preferred familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Strong attention to detail is essential

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Capability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences and staff at all levels

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while upholding attention to detail

• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to foster good working relationships

• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills

• Proactive, creative, and adaptable approach to task completion

• Commitment to ongoing improvement

• Ability to work independently as well as with intra- and inter-departmental teams

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience utilizing a desktop computer in a professional setting

• Capability to work while seated and/or standing at a workstation, viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse, and/or phone for three or more hours at a time

• Willingness to travel within the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training as required
