📋 Description

• Ensure prompt and accurate reimbursement through effective billing and collections.

• Investigate denial cases, pinpoint root causes, and address issues efficiently.

• Submit payer appeals within specified deadlines to enhance approval rates.

• Analyze accounts receivable to minimize payment delays.

• Collaborate with payers, patients, and teams to resolve outstanding balances.

• Clearly document all activities, adjustments, and updates.

• Review claims to ensure accurate reimbursement.

• Correct and reprocess claims to maximize payment outcomes.

• Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to inform subsequent actions.

• Enhance processes to decrease denial rates.

• Achieve quality and productivity targets.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in home infusion or specialty pharmacy medical billing/claims.

• Excellent customer service capabilities.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Effective communication skills.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Preferred understanding of billing workflows.

• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes is preferred.

• Knowledge of Medicare billing is preferred.

• Experience in reviewing payer contracts is preferred.

• Awareness of reimbursement guidelines is preferred.

• Experience with HCN360 or CPR+ is preferred.

• For remote work, a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed is required.
