Collections Recovery Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct follow-up phone calls on invoices to ensure payment is received.

• Address inquiries and resolve issues related to current or past billing statements.

• Utilize phone calls and some email correspondence to follow up on outstanding balances from policyholders.

• Review insurance policies and claims electronically to pinpoint amounts owed by policyholders.

• Engage in daily problem-solving regarding invoices that have already been billed.

• Assist the internal recovery team.

• A self-driven individual who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Capable of typing at least 45 words per minute.

• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written, along with telephone proficiency.

• Excellent interpersonal skills paired with strong organizational capabilities.

• Experience in telephone collections or customer service is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Familiarity with the insurance industry is advantageous but not essential.

• Bilingual capabilities are a significant advantage.
