This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure prompt and precise reimbursement through effective billing and collections.

• Investigate claims denials, pinpoint root causes, and resolve associated issues.

• Submit payer appeals within specified deadlines to enhance approval rates.

• Analyze accounts receivable to minimize payment delays.

• Collaborate with payers, patients, and teams to address outstanding balances.

• Maintain thorough documentation of all activities, adjustments, and updates.

• Review claims to ensure accurate reimbursement.

• Amend and resubmit claims to maximize payment efficiency.

• Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to determine subsequent actions.

• Enhance processes to decrease the rate of denials.

• Achieve quality and productivity targets.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in home infusion or specialty pharmacy medical billing/claims.

• Excellent customer service skills are essential.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Effective communication skills are necessary.

• Keen attention to detail is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is needed.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

• Comprehensive understanding of billing workflows.

• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.

• Knowledge of Medicare billing processes.

• Experience in reviewing payer contracts.

• Understanding of reimbursement guidelines.

• Previous experience with HCN360 or CPR+ is a plus.
