Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete invoice collection process to ensure prompt payment of more than $40 million annually in revenue.

• Engage with customers regarding outstanding and overdue invoices.

• Manage case escalations and intricate invoices.

• Collaborate with universities, student organizations, and businesses concerning invoice payments.

• Monitor and report on overall collections performance metrics.

• Process check and Venmo payments against invoices.

• Accept card payments via telephone.

• Apply discounts and refunds to invoices as necessary.

• Identify and take initiative on projects that provide added value.

• Analyze both invoice-level and portfolio-level data to establish priorities, strategize collection efforts, and facilitate timely payments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance, Collections, or Accounts Receivable.

• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English is essential.

• Customer-focused mindset.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Proactive, goal-driven, adaptable to change, composed under pressure, and exceptionally detail-oriented.
