Collaborating Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Facilitate necessary physician collaboration and oversight for designated PMHNPs.

• Perform regular chart evaluations to guarantee clinical excellence, proper prescribing practices, and the integrity of documentation.

• Engage in discussions with PMHNPs regarding intricate cases, diagnostic inquiries, and treatment strategies.

• Offer immediate and asynchronous guidance on complex or escalating patient situations.

• Assist in the formulation of clinical protocols, prescribing standards, and quality enhancement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a valid, unrestricted MD or DO license in Ohio.

• Board certification in Psychiatry (ABPN or an equivalent certification).

• Familiarity with collaborative practice regulations for PMHNPs.

• Experience in treating a variety of psychiatric conditions throughout the lifespan.

• Proficiency with telehealth frameworks, EHR-based chart assessments, and remote communication technologies.

• Background in supervising or collaborating with PMHNPs.

• Strong clinical judgment across diverse psychiatric cases and demographics.

• A sincere dedication to enhancing access to high-quality psychiatric care for Medicaid beneficiaries.
