Collaborating Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Ensure necessary physician collaboration and supervision for assigned PMHNPs.

• Perform regular chart reviews to maintain clinical quality, appropriate prescribing, and integrity of documentation.

• Engage with PMHNPs to discuss complex cases, address diagnostic queries, and formulate treatment plans.

• Offer real-time and asynchronous consultation for challenging or escalating patient situations.

• Participate in the creation of clinical protocols, prescribing guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted MD or DO license in Massachusetts.

• Hold board certification in Psychiatry (ABPN or equivalent).

• Have a solid understanding of collaborative practice requirements for PMHNPs.

• Experience in treating a variety of psychiatric conditions across different age groups.

• Familiarity with telehealth models, EHR-based chart review, and remote communication tools.

• Experience in supervising or collaborating with PMHNPs.

• Strong clinical judgment across a wide range of psychiatric presentations and populations.

• A sincere commitment to enhancing access to high-quality psychiatric care for Medicaid members.

• A collaborative approach and appreciation for working within a mission-driven care team.

• Ability to carefully balance regulatory supervision requirements with meaningful clinical collaboration.
