Collaborating Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to a diverse team of mental health professionals, such as MNHP and LCSWs.

• Deliver expert consultation on intricate cases, treatment strategies, and medication management as required.

• Ensure compliance with best practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in mental health service provision.

• Keep precise and current medical records, which include assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Assist in the creation and implementation of innovative mental health interventions.

• Commit to working 5–10 hours per month, with the possibility of increasing hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO from a recognized medical institution.

• Board certification in Psychiatry.

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Utah.

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a psychiatrist.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based practices.

• Experience with SUD/MAT is highly preferred.

• Must be a resident of Utah.

• Possess active or eligible medical staff privileges at an Intermountain Health facility in Utah, or the ability to secure privileges prior to the start date.

• Excellent communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, along with compassion, empathy, resilience, curiosity, and a strong ethical foundation.
