CNC Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Generate precise and efficient CNC programs for sheet-metal fabrication utilizing laser, punch, and press machinery.

• Analyze technical drawings, design files, and manufacturing specifications.

• Create and validate CNC programs with CAM software such as PEP, Boost, Amada, or comparable platforms.

• Design and optimize nesting layouts to enhance material usage and reduce waste.

• Conduct pre-programming and post-programming verifications for accuracy, quality, and adherence to customer requirements.

• Maintain material documentation, including inventory, remnants, consignments, and order forms.

• Prioritize programming activities based on production timelines, deadlines, and manufacturing needs.

• Collaborate with production, drafting, and internal teams to address technical challenges and enhance programming efficiency and production workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in CNC programming within the sheet-metal fabrication sector, manufacturing, or a similar field.

• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, design files, and manufacturing guidelines.

• Practical experience with CAM programming software like PEP, Boost, Amada, or similar tools.

• Strong grasp of CNC programming concepts, nesting, and material optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with programming laser, punch, and press machinery.

• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities, with the capacity to meet production deadlines autonomously.

• Strong communication and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Over 3 years of experience in CNC programming or machine operation.

• Relevant trade qualifications are highly regarded.

• Experience with computer modeling software is also highly regarded.
