CNC Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance CNC programs for milling operations.

• Create custom components and tooling for various production applications.

• Innovate machining methods and tooling strategies.

• Establish and assist with CNC milling machines during production runs.

• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and validate CNC programs on production machinery.

• Adjust programs to accommodate engineering modifications and product updates.

• Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to enhance machining efficiency.

• Maintain programming documentation and manage revision control.

• Contribute to process enhancements aimed at reducing cycle times and improving quality.

• Ensure all programs comply with safety, quality, and customer standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's Degree is preferred (in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology).

• At least 5 years of experience in CNC Programming is required.

• Extensive experience in programming CNC milling machines is essential.

• Proficient in CAD software and CNC programming.

• Capability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

• Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

• Experience with CATIA is preferred.

• Familiarity with Epicor ERP is preferred.

• Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing is preferred.

• Experience with complex precision-machined components is preferred.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
