Cloud Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create architectural solutions for extensive, mission-critical enterprise systems

• Establish strategies for modernizing legacy systems

• Assess strategies for refactoring, replatforming, and rehosting

• Design architectures that are cloud-native

• Plan the transition of monolithic applications to microservices

• Develop solutions based on containers, APIs, and event-driven architectures

• Evaluate strategies for AI-assisted modernization

• Craft solutions for environments in AWS and Azure

• Define architectures that incorporate Kubernetes

• Organize solutions utilizing DevSecOps and CI/CD methodologies

• Formulate Infrastructure as Code strategies using Terraform and CloudFormation

• Collaborate with DDD, EDA, API First, and microservices principles

• Assist in Platform Engineering efforts

• Take into account cloud governance, FinOps, observability, and security in multicloud settings

• Create reference architectures and conduct technical assessments

• Outline technology evolution strategies for solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing solutions for large-scale enterprise systems

• Background in mission-critical systems

• Experience in modernizing legacy systems

• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies

• Understanding of microservices

• Knowledge of container technologies

• Proficient in APIs and event-driven architectures

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure

• Knowledge of Kubernetes

• Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles

• Proficient in Terraform and/or CloudFormation

• Knowledge of DDD, EDA, and API First methodologies

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

• Experience in Platform Engineering

• Familiarity with FinOps

• Knowledge of observability practices

• Experience in securing multicloud environments
