Cloud Security Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Define technical solutions that align with customers’ critical business objectives

• Advocate for Palo Alto Networks’ cloud security offerings

• Collaborate with account teams to suggest and develop tailored customer solutions

• Present information to customers, ranging from practitioners to senior leadership

• Act as the primary technical contact for Cloud Security concerning RFIs/RFPs

• Lead customer demonstrations and Proof of Value initiatives

• Enhance technical validation and improve Proof of Value success rates

• Discuss product alignment, customer needs, and competitive differentiation

• Design solutions that bolster and simplify customers’ security frameworks

• Document High-Level Designs and Key Use Cases

• Assist customers in developing services centered around Prisma Cloud

• Facilitate discussions on industry trends and shifts in the security environment

• Position Palo Alto Networks or partner-provided services for implementation and value realization

• Initiate projects aimed at enhancing team performance and supporting the implementation of organizational policies

• Communicate customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitive intelligence, and R&D

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of technical sales experience or equivalent preferred

• Practical experience with IaC tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, and GCP Cloud Deployment Manager

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including IDEs, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, and CircleCI

• Experience with configuration and administration of Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud

• Knowledge in configuring security features and services including identity and access management, networking, firewalls, and encryption

• Extensive experience in one or more areas of cloud security such as Shift Left, CSPM, CWP, KSPM, CIEM, DSPM, or AI-SPM

• Background in security or cloud security is highly preferred

• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration technologies

• Proficiency in English

• Willingness to travel for in-person customer meetings as necessary
