Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical workshops for clients.

• Oversee deployments from initial kickoff through to operational handover.

• Offer best-practice architectural advice to clients.

• Convert business requirements into technical designs.

• Create High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and operational runbooks.

• Implement and engineer Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection (CWPP) functionalities.

• Integrate security tools into developer CI/CD pipelines via Shift-Left security methodologies.

• Protect cloud workloads.

• Manage time-to-value in intricate multi-cloud environments.

• Equip and train customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or professional services.

• 10+ years of experience required for Senior positions.

• Direct experience with Prisma Cloud or Cortex Cloud, or equivalent experience with competing CSPM/CWP products.

• Hands-on architectural experience with at least one primary public cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong expertise in container security, including Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, or GKE.

• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Strong proficiency in scripting with Python and Bash.

• Demonstrated ability to manage time-to-value (TTV).

• Capability to navigate complex multi-cloud environments.

• Ability to enable and train clients.

• Hands-on Cloud Security experience, particularly with Prisma Cloud, is highly sought after for the enterprise cybersecurity project with Palo Alto Networks.
