Cloud SCM Delivery Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership and oversight for the SCM functional team members implementing Oracle SCM Cloud applications across various industries.

• Facilitate workshops for Oracle Cloud Application requirements, solution architecture, and design discussions.

• Utilize expertise in Oracle Cloud Applications and industry best practices to advise clients on cost-effective solutions.

• Lead implementation teams in developing comprehensive technical and functional Enterprise Cloud solutions.

• Create Oracle Cloud Application extensions utilizing PaaS and other relevant technologies; draft specifications for custom applications and integrations.

• Evaluate existing systems and data to pinpoint requirements and necessary enhancements or modifications.

• Lead, mentor, train, and guide teams involved in Oracle Cloud applications implementation.

• Tackle product implementation and integration challenges with innovative and creative strategies.

• Formulate and execute long-term strategies for clients.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, updating them on project progress, challenges, and changes.

• Involve stakeholders in estimation processes.

• Assist business partners in conveying solution value to key stakeholders.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers; negotiate contracts and agreements.

• Present business cases and quantify the benefits of proposed solutions.

• Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and recommend necessary updates, upgrades, or modifications.

• Contribute to the growth and development of the consulting practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.

• At least 10 years of experience in the role of an Oracle Functional consultant.

• More than 3 years of experience in leading SCM solution design for Oracle Cloud implementations.

• Expert-level experience as an Oracle Cloud Architect implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud implementation projects and upgrades.

• Familiarity with Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS), including Integration Cloud Service and Database Cloud Service.

• Knowledge and experience with Web Services and Oracle Cloud-delivered Web Services (SOAP & REST).

• Strong consulting and analytical skills for gathering requirements, fit-gap analysis, business process design, conducting conference room pilots, functional configuration, and testing of procurement ERP solutions.

• Experience working with diverse and cross-border teams and projects.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with at least 3 Oracle Cloud Application modules: Oracle Manufacturing Cloud, Oracle Cloud Cost Management, Oracle Order Management Cloud, Oracle Demand/Supply Planning, Oracle Maintenance Cloud, Oracle Procurement, or Oracle Inventory Cloud.

• Excellent consulting and analytical skills for Oracle SCM Cloud solutions.

• Proven track record of guiding clients through business process enhancements.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Preferred experience in a similar consulting role within a professional services firm or strategic-level industry experience.

• Proficient in both written and verbal English communication.

• Exceptional skills in managing complex projects.

• Business development skills to attract new clients and strengthen existing relationships.

• Ability to mentor and coach effectively.

• Capability to contribute to strategic vision and decision-making.

• Ability to effectively engage with senior client executives.

• Oracle Cloud certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
