This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take ownership of and oversee the complete release process for Azure landing zone deployments.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the current release process and pinpoint areas that require enhancement.
• Create, sustain, and improve Ansible playbooks for automated deployment.
• Utilize Terraform configurations to manage Azure infrastructure effectively.
• Troubleshoot and refine Python code utilized during the deployment process.
• Develop and uphold testing protocols for new modifications and deployments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate release processes seamlessly.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation for release procedures and actions taken.
• Ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards in a government contracting environment.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production deployments and resolve issues.
• Establish the onboarding process to facilitate application teams' engagement and navigation.
• Become proficient in the RTX public cloud implementation and onboarded services.
• Assist in infrastructure automation initiatives by ensuring all necessary information is collected.
• Guarantee that service request forms gather the information essential for automated solutions.
• Generally requires a University Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience OR, if no degree, 12 years of pertinent experience.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are allowed access to certain critical systems.
• Proficient in Ansible, including the ability to write and debug complex YAML playbooks.
• Skilled in Terraform for infrastructure as code implementations.
• Experienced in Python programming with the capability to read, troubleshoot, and enhance existing code.
• Familiar with Azure cloud services and architectures, especially regarding landing zones.
• Exposure to SAP systems and migration projects is advantageous.
• Ability to work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. Territories.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for project management and CI/CD is preferred.
• Knowledge of AWS and GCP is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent AWS/GCP certifications are preferred.
• Willingness to attend specific interview steps in person if requested.
