Cloud Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components utilizing approved architectural patterns.

• Automate repetitive provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.

• Implement security, identity management, networking, backup solutions, monitoring systems, and availability controls.

• Investigate incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change documentation.

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.

• Contribute to the delivery lifecycle by providing reliable and maintainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience as specified in the posting.

• Typically, 4 or more years in a related professional position; the exact requirement must align with the approved requisition.

• Hands-on experience with TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPN, load balancing, AWS VPC/Azure VNet, and network security.

• Professional background in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations pertinent to the role.

• Practical knowledge of specific cloud, operating systems, container, or automation technologies.

• Understanding of the fundamentals of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability.

• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code.

• Ability to methodically troubleshoot infrastructure and production-related issues.

• Strong skills in documentation and collaboration across teams.
