Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components in accordance with approved architectural patterns.

• Automate repeatable tasks related to provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operations.

• Implement controls for security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability.

• Investigate incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change documentation.

• Collaborate effectively across engineering and operations teams.

• Contribute to building reliable and maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as indicated in the job overview.

• Typically requires 4+ years in a related professional role; the exact threshold must align with the approved requisition.

• Practical experience with the primary programming language and framework, APIs, SQL, testing, Git, and CI/CD practices.

• Professional background in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations.

• Hands-on expertise with specific cloud, operating system, container, or automation technologies.

• Understanding of the fundamentals of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability.

• Experience in scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code.

• Ability to systematically troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues.

• Strong skills in documentation and cross-team collaboration.

• U.S. work authorization is required as a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate; new H-1B sponsorship is not available.

• Full-time direct W2 employment; not open to C2C or 1099 arrangements.
