This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee and provide support for the Snowflake data warehouse infrastructure
• Enhance and optimize data ingestion pipelines and models
• Create and execute new data source ingestions and models
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the data infrastructure
• Address and resolve outages within data infrastructure
• Assist in the automated distribution of data extracts from Snowflake
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to fulfill data requirements
• Continuously assess and enhance data system performance
• Collaborate in the creation and upkeep of disaster recovery plans
• Maintain thorough documentation related to data architecture and processes
• Offer advanced support and troubleshooting for intricate data challenges
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data architecture or engineering
• In-depth experience with Snowflake
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and integration techniques
• Demonstrated experience in managing cloud-based data infrastructures
• Excellent problem-solving abilities for complex data challenges
• Outstanding communication skills
• Capability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• Technical skills: APIs, ETL tools (Apache, Talend, Informatica), scripting (Python, Java, Scala, Bash, Powershell), DevOps (Terraform/CloudFormation), Azure DevOps
• Preferred: Certifications in Snowflake or related technologies
• Preferred: Experience with DBT or Alation
• Preferred: Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools
